Getting here
London Bridge is one of the best-connected places in London. To plan a journey, use the TfL Journey Planner. It shows live disruption and step-free routes.
By train
London Bridge station is on Tooley Street and St Thomas Street, SE1. It has 15 platforms and a large street-level concourse. Network Rail lists Southern, Southeastern and Thameslink as the train companies to contact here, and direct trains to Gatwick and Luton airports.[2] For train times, see National Rail.[3]
By Tube
London Bridge Underground station is in Zone 1 and is served by the Jubilee and Northern lines. TfL lists lifts and escalators among its facilities.[1]
By bus
London Bridge bus station is directly outside the main station entrance, on the upper level. There are more stops on Tooley Street.[2] Routes change from time to time, so check the Journey Planner for the right bus.
Step-free access
- National Rail: Network Rail rates London Bridge step-free category A, with level access to all platforms by lift. Ramps and wheelchairs are available. You can book assistance through your train company or ask on the day, and there is a Changing Places toilet.[2]
- Underground: lifts and escalators are sometimes out of service. Check the TfL station page on the day,[1] and see TfL's accessibility pages for step-free journeys.[5]
By bike, on foot or by taxi
Network Rail lists 200 cycle stands in Station Approach, cycle hire nearby at Duke Street Hill, and taxi ranks around the station.[2] From the City, you can simply walk over London Bridge.
